About Lemnos

Clocks keep time and create space.

We look at a clock countless times a day, even unintentionally; Our wish is therefore for the clock to enrich the space that you are in, Sometimes like a graceful flower or sometimes like a shiny gem.

With this in mind, Lemnos has presented a large number of high-quality items in collaboration with many famous designers. Lemnos products are underpinned by craftsmen's refined skills to bring out the best of the material through their interaction with it. The result is a design that will never become obsolete in spite of the passage of time. Our innovative designs and products made carefully in Japan have received high acclaim and won a number of awards both at home and overseas, including the Good Design Award.

Lemnos will continue to propose cutting-edge and everlasting beauty.

Origin of the company name

レムノスの企業理念 イメージ

Lemnos takes its name from an island in the northern Aegean Sea. In Greek mythology, Hephaestus, the god of fire and craftsmanship, visited this island and taught its inhabitants various techniques such as metalwork, forging, and casting, leading to the island’s great prosperity through artisans. We chose the name Lemnos with the aspiration to become a better place for creators and contribute to the happiness of all who gather here.
