〈essent〉
essent is a clock designed to set a new standard that is easy to read for both children and adults and fits into a variety of spaces, from private to public. In addition to the juxtaposition of the decimal system and the 60th decimal system necessary to recognize the time, the design of the hands is clear and intuitive, and CMF utilizes it in a functional rather than decorative way. It is an extremely essential and high quality design by letterpress that fundamentally confronts the limited function, materials, and manufacturing methods of a wall clock, and considers sustainability from a variety of angles.
