In response to the rise of counterfeit products, Lemnos changed its approach to product development. We began the processing and development of wooden and plywood frames, along with new initiatives that utilized unique technologies and materials, including cast clocks made using Takata Seisakusho’s casting techniques, while considering environmental sustainability. This transition gave birth to iconic Lemnos products such as the RIKI CLOCK, Edge Clock, and “Drops draw the existence.”

The success of the RIKI CLOCK paved the way for further projects with Riki Watanabe. These include the reissue of classic designs from the 1960s and 70s as Riki Watanabe models, appealing to contemporary modern styles. We also launched new products such as the RIKI CLOCK RC and RIKI STEEL CLOCK, expanding into radio-controlled clocks. By enhancing functionality while preserving beautiful design, we aimed to create truly universal timepieces.
